I tried memtest86. I ran it for about 1/2 hr without having any
clue on when it would finish. So I canceled the test.
One more reason could be processor overheating. Check your processor fan
and keep an eye on your processor's temperature (may be you can look
into the BIOS for PC health status) while the system reboots.
PC health status. My BIOS doesn't have anything like that.
I faced simillar problem twice. It is due to capacitors. Open the
system and examine the capacitors.
