" netstat -na -p " will give you all the sockets and the program that opens
the socket including unix sockets.

i would like to know the no. of opened sockets for network
application along in linux
for ex. http sockets , tcp socks - ftp socks ...
/proc/net/sockstat will only give the total no of sockets opened
how to identify and differentiate it?
