Hi there,
I've got some doubts in the /usr/include/ folder. there some subfolders
like the following,
arpa
asm
attr
bits
c++
curl
et
gdbm
linux
ncurses
net
netash
netinet
netpacket
openssl
pppd
protocols
rpc
sys
when i want to learn about these folders and the libraries available in
those folders i couldn't find any information, or i couldn't infer any
details from the files in those folders.
albeit i could find some in the internet, also being a programmer i can
get some like c++, net, inet ( by using some libraries ) in my coding.
But i need a clear specifications of these folders like
- what corresponds to these folders
- what are include files available in these folders, and
- what these files provide
Also, the include files in this folders couldn't provide the information
what i need. All the header files starts with the Copyrights,
Redistribution and warranty. Then they directly comment about each
functions and variables available, instead of giving a brief
introduction about that header file in whole.
Where can i find these information, about these folders and header
files, to have an indepth knowledge of the libraries available in the
include folder.
Please help me in this. I've started exploring linux only now, after
getting interest in it.
