[Ilugc] firefox and konq will not load in fedora 12

hi, 

firefox and konq will not load in my gnome fedora 12. firefox says:
Could not find compatible GRE between version 1.9.1.11 and 1.9.1.11.
any clues? And I cannot search the net because I do not have a working
browser
