You can install the FC3 glibc-2.3.3 RPMs, but you'll break userland and
leave the system in a semi-usable state. The main issue is that rpm will
also break, and until you restore rpm, you won't be able to install/remove
packages. I've done this upgrade successfully for RH 7.3, and I'll post
the basic sequence of steps in due course after I'm convinced that it
it's reasonably foolproof.
The simplest alternative is simply to do an upgrade installation of FC3 -
this takes care of all the dependency resolution automatically. The main
downside is that it messes up the GUI and so on - but most of this
can be taken care off by performing custom package selection before the
upgrade.
