[Ilugc] has anyone been successful in getting Chrome/chromium on rhel5.4 up and running

The package is provided by a third party that you are trusting
blindly. ? The tar bundle contains a cache directory along with a
bunch of files in it.

Are you suspecting it could be malicious or is it that you know for
sure it is malicious content packaged with it ?
