yes, ftp.iitm.ac.in presents different views to users on campus and off. only
the pub tree of on-campus users is visible to off-campus users. however, i have
provided symlinks so
http://ftp.iitm.ac.in/ubuntu ;(or centos or debian or
whatever) will work for everyone. these links or needed, for example, for
debian, since we have to be visible at the same url to all users.
