Dear friends,
I am at present using fedora core 2 .I use XFCE. I
like working in Fedora but, it is too slow when
compared to winXP running on the same box.
I am thinking of moving to a distro that will be as
speed as WinXP[ Of course I have reduced to the
minimun number of services... and turned on 32 bit
mode in HDD].
Is it true that MDK 10 is faster than fedora...
Please suggest any other distro that will be fast for
this hardware....
And I am not sure that my modem driver[USB eciadsl]
will work in it. In addition I use PL2303 cable for my
nokia mobile with gammu,knokkisysnc and gnokii... I
need a distro that will satisfy all my needs...
