Hi,
How about the SCSI controller's driver?
The SCSI controllers driver is compiled as a module.
After installing kernel, i have remade the ramdisk
loading the necessary modules by:
mkinitrd --preload=scsi_mod --preload=sd_mod \
--with=ata_piix initrd-2.6.18.img 2.6.18
then reboot which landed me in the error mentioned previously.
