I got the same model a week before for 53.5K and it is very good. I
removed the Windows Vista which came preloaded with this laptop
(including the separate partition which is used for the recovery
purpose) and installed Debian Etch. Since Debian Etch did not have out
of box support and requires some time to configure the Nvidia card, I
installed Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon which worked out of the box with all the
hardware configured. Of course Nvidia uses a restricted driver in
Ubuntu. But there is no issues and it rocks :)
