Thanks. Nautilus automatically mounts the partition when I try to open it.
But, all my media is in this parition. W/o me mounting it, my audio player
says
the file does not exist. I use Amarok. Any suggestions?
You can add a mount command to your autostart file.
A simple 'pmount <dev> MMEDIA' would be sufficient.
The location of the autostart file is dependant on the desktop environment you
use.
I am assuming you use KDE - so check in ~/.kde .
If you want an environment agnostic solution, add the mount command to
/etc/rc.local .
HTH.
