Am on Gutsy/Gnome. I added 'pmount /dev/sda2 MMEDIA' to my /etc/rc.local.
No effect. And I have sym links to some directories in the partition in my
/home. Which don't work unless I open the partition from nautilus or have
mounted it already. Any go. In short I want the partition to mount
automatically when my system boots and I should have write permissions to
it. I have only one user a/c on my box. So even if what you suggest will
work for just one user, its fine with me.
