Hello people,
I tried using xelatex with the tamil unicode contents but when the pdf
is generated the tamil text gets rendered incorrectly. Here is the latex
contents that I used.
%&program=xetex
%&encoding=UTF-8 Unicode
\documentclass[a4paper, draft]{article}
\usepackage{fontspec}
\usepackage{xunicode}
\usepackage{xltxtra}
\font\lang="Lohit Tamil"\lang
\begin{document}
\lang
??????????? ?????????? ?????????? ???????????
\lang
\end{document}
Then I did
#xelatex ex2.tex
It produced ex2.pdf which had the incorrect rendering of tamil text and
here is the screenshot

Please let me know where I am wrong or is there any other alternative
Thanks in advance
regards
