Hi all,

Does anybody know if creating fixed Control ID's for a VB, C++ and .Net
application can't be turned on or off by the application developer? And if
so, where should this be done? And, is it easy to turn fixed Control ID's on
after it was first turned off? So after you created your application (I do
understand that it should be recompiled and build again after the change).

And are there differences between VB, C++, C# and .Net?

I sometime see applications with Control ID's all set to 0, or all with the
same number as the window handle or just changing after each restart of the
application.

Could be helpful to know what a developer must do to fix this.

Thanks,

Raymond
