Here's something I found a version of a looooong time ago - the code monkey programmer's theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W_wd9Qf0IE Stay well Jacob Kruger Blind Biker Skype: BlindZA '...fate had broken his body, but not his spirit...' ----- Original Message ----- From: "Geoff Chapman" <gch@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jawsscripts@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, March 01, 2011 2:35 AM Subject: [jawsscripts] code monkey? hahahahaha, well, I can't speak for Jamal, but I personally would be quite chuffed to be called a "code monkey" if it were me! after all, I reckon it's the "code monkeys," that are the absolute meat and potatoes behind what makes the end user experience what it is! to my mind, that's where all the real power and, well effectiveness/accessibility comes from! You know how to code, that is, tell the puter what you want it to do and how, and you got an awful lot of power to change things for an awful lot of people I reckon! not a bad job to have! plus, all one needs do is check out any of Jamal's surrounding bits over the years, like in empowerment zone and now the new site, and one can tell his life has an awful lot more social justice/people focused stuff going on there, than just coding! He has amazed and astounded the blind community around the world for years and years! wel, me anywayz. hhahahahaha. Anyone who puts as much effort into making as many free things available for us to use, taking with it, as it inevitably does, everyone's hits of, "oh but why didn't you do it like that," or, finding problems or shortcomings that doesn't suit individual situations, rather than remembering to thank and praise for all the great things it does, ... human nature I guess but,...well it takes a braver man than I would be, to cope with that, and keep on delivering! yay Jamal! __________ View the list's information and change your settings at http://www.freelists.org/list/jawsscripts __________ View the list's information and change your settings at http://www.freelists.org/list/jawsscripts
