right. well, that's what I would expect it should do. hmmmm. it should be smart enough to pass it through to application, even if it has been snaffled in the jkm file by the generic "HSCAssignHotSpot" entry for the keystroke. I have one like that here with alt+Top row number 4, and it faithfully passes the keystroke directly through to the sonar app and pulls up event view, when my pantheon reverb set isn't loaded. that's what it ought to do. so if it isn't doing that, then there's a bug or something wrong going on here for you. as a work-around, in your main set where you want it to pass through to the application, you could just define a dummy hotspot for your alt+d key, and choose action number 31, passKeyToTheApplication, when asked what type of action you want it to perform. that might force it to do what you want. but, as I say, it should be smart enough to be doing that already. it does it here for me. I wonder whether it's the particular key you've chosen that's interfering with that logic somehow. ----- Original Message ----- From: "GianniP46" <giannip46@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jawsscripts@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, May 06, 2008 11:09 AM Subject: [jawsscripts] Re: HSC KeyStroke issue > I am running HSC Version 191. > When I try the keystroke {Alt+D} while keyboard help is turned on, Jaws says"Alt+D, not assigned in the currently active set". Then it tells you all of the other sets that it is assigned in. Alt+D is assigned in 5 other sets, but not in the main set. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Geoff Chapman > To: jawsscripts@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Monday, May 05, 2008 10:53 AM > Subject: [jawsscripts] Re: HSC KeyStroke issue > > hmmm. there was a version of hsc where it did that naughty thing. > what version are you running. > hit hscMods+h and read top line to find out? > also what happens when you turn on jawsHelp, jawsKey+top row number 1, and > hit alt+d in the main window, where it's not assigned. what does hsc/jaws > say. > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "GianniP46" <giannip46@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: "JawsScriptsList" <JawsScripts@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Monday, May 05, 2008 2:18 PM > Subject: [jawsscripts] HSC KeyStroke issue > > > > Hey guys, > > I have an app that I have a bunch of HSC Sets created for.
