Katherine, u not gonna like what I have to say, but the truth is,
there's not enough information to tell. For example, it's impossible
to tell whether the program is strictly bitmapped, in which case aint
no amount of scripting or anything else gonna make that sucker read.
On the other hand, Jaws may not be focused on the correct window, & if
Jaws can get to the proper 1, things may change in a hurry. Having
said that, though, when I get programs like that, especially if there
are others available, I usually just scrap it & bid it good riddens.
