Good afternoon,

I wouldn't say definitively no, but I seriously doubt it.  I imagine  
that it is a limitation of the terminal application itself.  Can a  
user who is not using JAWS perform an action involving a sustained  
shift, for instance selecting text in a document or a list of files in  
Windows Explorer?
