When you consider the difficulties that will be encountered when scripting the ITunes interface, and the fact that like most applications the amount of time and effort to keep on top of frequent updates, is monumental, The price for JTunes is not unreasonable. If you have the need to use Itunes on a regular basis and use more than the basic functionality, it is definitely worth the price. I didn't really mind paying $30 or so for Jim Snowbarger's Sound Forge scripts, but I just couldn't see paying more than twice as much for J-Tunes. I have heard Brian's demonstration of iTunes with and without J-Tunes, and I agree that his scripts make iTunes much more friendly to the user, but the price of J-Tunes is just too high for me, considering that I can play my music, download podcasts and listen to Internet radio without J-Tunes. If, however, someone did develop a set of scripts with functionality similar to J-Tunes, a price of around $25 or $30, and an easy way to pay for them, such as Pay Pal, I would probably buy them.
