I was playing with jaws 10 and powerpoint earlier today. I found a similar
problem but wasn't paying a lot of attention. What you might try is to hit f6
and then try the f5 again.

I remember having this problem too; however, I didn't run into it with jaws 10
until today, which is what I'm using now.

I remember having this problem with one version of JAWS or the other. I
think it was the final release of JAWS 9. Is this what you are using? My
memory may be a little flaky but I know it was definitely a problem at some
point.

Hi all,
When I bring up a PowerPoint presentation, by hitting f5 in PowerPoint, my
virtual cursor no longer activates; thus, moving around with the cursor keys
navigates me through slides, instead of inside of them. I tried toggling
jawskey+z, but to no avail.
Is there any solution to this? I've made no script changes or anything of that
nature.
