A lot of us utilize specially crafted "utility" tools designed to query and explore MSAA support (and the extent thereof) in a desired environment. (Doug Lee's BX toolbox is a fine example of such a script set.) When I first began delving into MSAA, I found the Scripting FSDN's documentation horribly vague. My solution for this was to grab a copy of the MSAA documentation from the MSAA SDK and apply what I was reading to JAWS's native support through studying scripting code that drew upon MSAA. I hope I've been at least a modicum of help.
