Well brain, Another way you may choose, and this does not impact any system
volume.
Doug has created 5 different volume level
files for skype typing sounder.
you may sure use that code and of course take permission from him.

I don't expect there is, but is there a way of changing the volume of the
PlaySound feature? So if I put a sound in a script to play, a wav file, the
volume can be adjusted by the user?
