I could well be wrong about this,
but I thought that hovering the mouse over menus which contained submenus,
was universally a method of causing them to automatically open?

if you turn on the JawsWillFollowPc command, control+insert+NumPadMinus,
then try and traverse menus, at least when I tried this once, the menus with
submenu items would always auto trigger and open by themselves before the
user had pressed enter on them to normatively cause them to do so?
