If you do a repair and tell it to delete your personal setting it will
update research it. It writes a new default.jcf and if you copy the old file
back it will over write that file and go back to the old research it. I
wrote FS and told them and they said they knew about the problem but didn't
have a solution yet.
Just make sure you copy all your personal scripts and settings before you
tell it to delete your personal settings.
