There is a feature in jaws to turn off specific application code. I would check there. It would probably be good to drop in a Say statement into your default.jss just to make sure it is truly loading. Also, it might be that features you are looking for have equivalent code in a library with higher precedence? So, first step make sure the code is there by creating a test script and assoicateding it with a key like alt-1 . First put in default and then in your custom ijss file. Once that works you should be on your way to fixing the other code issues.
