I have to correct myself on the Braille formatting aspect of my answer.
I do not know what the conventions are for displaying large numbers in
French in Braille, so I really cannot say whether these large numbers
are displayed correctly in French or not.

All I can say is that I have not seen any problems so far. I will
also
say that the numbers are displayed properly in Braille as well. I
hope
that this means that FS can implement something relatively easily.

Good morning David,
I do find this to be an interesting problem. For better or worse a
solution
has been found and implemented for French content. I actually tested
this
myself, I won't say how slow I had to set JAWS to run so that I could
understand Eloquence in French, but the number 123 456 789 was read as
an
entire number and not three separate numbers.
Do you know if the french "number chuncking" solution works
consistently, or
are there false positives and false negatives generated?
