well jaws beta2 build 730 for me, ended up causing me heaps of time wastage
as well, and I report this on list purposely in case it's happened to anyone
else, or to watch for it etc.

some time After I installed beta2, I noticed that all my jaws versions,
stopped allowing me to read anything wiht the JAWS cursor, that was in
either IE 8, or *any* of the iTunes 10.7 window.
not just the virtual store stuff either, which seems to have become a
no-goer for jaws cursor for a while now, grrrrr,
But none of the library playlists, or the menu bar, not one skerick of info
was readable with the jaws cursor in iTunes. which normatively is quite
readable.
Although admittedly it does tend to corrupt over uptime, I find, and the
text becomes a bit mashed together, in the OSM of lovely iTunes .
Look athte the header columns for example upon a first run of iTunes,
compared to how it gets after a while of being open.

Things of course still read in MSAA land as one tabbed about with pcCursor,
but that wasn't the point of course.
In IE8, jaws cursor could read the addressBar and bits of toolbar, but in
the main IE window would just jump from the addressBar straight down to the
bottom status line, and it would read that, ignoring anything in the IE
window itself.
Not Good!
This was all under Windows xp sp3 by the way.

So, as you might expect, I concluded they must've installed a new FsVid.dll,
with the new 14.0.730 build, and that this had broken the jolly thing.

So, i used Video intercept manager, to uninstall it, and then manually
pulled it out of system32, (since uninstalling it didn't seem to do that
automatically as I'd have expected,
to more better insure that the older version of fsVid that I wanted to put
back, would not first check there was already a version sitting in system32,
and rehook that one back into the video chain, and not insert my old one.

Anyway, after conferring with others,
I discovered the standard FSVid.dll
intercept, had not, actually changed versions at all, with the new 14.0
beta2 install, from 13.0.1006! which frankly surprised me! viz, the
fsVid.dll had remained at v11.1.1002, I think it was?

it'd been my previous experience that they shipped a new FSVid.dll with
every new jaws build/release!

Anywayz, to cut a long story short, I had to uninstall *all*, my jaws
versions, and I had a lot on here, from 8.0 through to 14, with shared
components on the last uninstall, manually pull out all the stuff from
program files and the user profiles area too,
do a cCleaner, and scan/clean the registry for good measure, then began the
reinstall of the versions of jaws I wanted back, which were 8, 11 and 12.
I haven't yet got round to reinstalling 13, though I would like to.
and as for reinstaling the beta2 of 14.0? Well, as might be imagined, I'm
jolly nervous about doing that now, since it takes ages as you'd know, to
reconfigure things just the comfortable way one desires! including putting
custom scripts back in and rah rah rah.

Has anyone else whose installed 14.0, experienced anything like this?
The whole thing just didn't make sense to me! I'd have thought the fsVid.dll
was wholely and solely responsible for all jaws cursor OSM stuff going down!
But obviously I am wrong about this.
Wondered if any of the FSDom stuff, could've effected this?

thoughts?
