From my understanding, yes, this should be possible.
As to whether is desirable, well... I don't think license terms say anything 
about that. still, I don't know if it would be as useful as FineReader, open 
book or other dedicated OCR packages, since the screen resolution is way 
lower than scanned picture resolution, and so the results of jaws OCR would 
be worse.

Hmmm, Does this mean one could make OCR try to auto scroll through a
document and copy/append each portion of OCR  text to the clipboard? should
one desire to?
