re: make jaws read previous spoken speech messageIf you are still focused on a field, Insert+Tab reads windows prompt and text. Jaws will speak the prompt and associated text again. In excel, you can try Numpad 5 which rereads cell information and data.Paul Bonarrigo On Sunday, March 1, 2015 11:08 PM, FreeLists Mailing List Manager <ecartis@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: jawsscripts Digest   Sun, 01 Mar 2015   Volume: 03 Issue: 048 In This Issue:       [jawsscripts] Re: Small script idea       [jawsscripts] make jaws read previous spoken speech message       [jawsscripts] Re: make jaws read previous spoken speech mess ---------------------------------------------------------------------- From: "Geoff Chapman" <gch@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [jawsscripts] Re: Small script idea Date: Sun, 1 Mar 2015 17:57:32 +1100 yes Soronel. Is there a keystroke to get jaws to read the previous spoken message? For example, in command prompt when you type in a command, jaws will read the new text, but there is no way to get jaws to repeat it unless you route jaws to pc. I know there is insert+b, but this reads unnecessary information. Iâve looked in FSDN, but I couldnât find a likely function. I know this should be possible since in jaws 15 you now have speech history, but Iâm using jaws 14. Any tips on what I should do to get this functionality is welcome Thanks Michael ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 1 Mar 2015 10:40:34 -0500 From: Doug Lee <doug.lee@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [jawsscripts] Re: make jaws read previous spoken speech message Ins+Space H lets you review the latest messages spoken. Sometimes on my machine it seems to take a moment to pull that up, but it does work as a means of review, checking spelling of something just said, etc. On Sun, Mar 01, 2015 at 02:19:21PM +0000, Michael wrote: Hi, this has been bugging me for some time.
