Thanks for the tip, Lena! Charles and I went out yesterday and it was a
lovely day. We didn't see the warbler or the Lincoln's Sparrow, but saw your
other birds. In addition:
2 Golden-fronted Woodpeckers4 Ash-throated Flycatchers2 Field Sparrows2
Yellow-rumped Warblers (Audubon's)
They're still allowing camping out there, if anyone feels it's worth it.
Also, in case you didn't know, the main refuge at Muleshoe is closed. But
Paul's Lake was open last Saturday. And Grulla is open (but not a lot of birds
- just nice to walk outside).
Also, watched a pair of Scissor-tailed Flycatchers building a nest.
