Meeting point: Meet at the parking lot on the North side (NOTE CHANGE in
meeting location)
Time: by 8 am
We need some advanced birders to help find and id.
Lake Six is south of 19^th St. and east of Martin Luther King
Drive.There is a two way loop road around the lake off MLK Dr.
If you are North of 19th St:
- go to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
- go South
- a little way past 19th St, turn left (East) onto the road that is on
the North side of the lake
- you will see a drive-in parking lot on your right. This is more than
just a pull off, it is a parking lot with space for about 20 cars. It is
next to the lake.
If you are South of 19th St:
- go to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
- go North, past 24th St
- you will see a lake on your right
- once you are just across the flowage of the lake, turn right, this is
the end of the loop road North of the lake (you will have passed the
first end of the loop road on the South of the lake).
- you will see a drive-in parking lot on your right. This is more than
just a pull off, it is a parking lot with space for about 20 cars. It is
next to the lake.
