Yesterday (Thursday, May14) a Black-headed Grosbeak was in my yard at one of
the birdbaths along with a female cardinal. They seemed to be sharing the
birdbath. He was a delightful surprise.
There have been a pair or two of White-crowned Sparrows flitting in and out of
the yard for the past several days. Good to see them; its been awhile since
I've seen any in the yard.
