On an absolutely beautiful morning, a fantastic group of birding enthusiasts
gathered for an almost 3 hour hike down, up and around the Nature Trail. Kudos
to all who managed to complete one of our more physically challenging bird
walks. It was a fantastic outing. 42 species were identified. Trail conditions
were good, and the group successfully navigated its way to the spring and back.
Thank you to all who attended this special bird walk. We collected trash along
the way. More outings and projects at the Nature Trail are anticipated this
year.
Lots of past LEAS history goes with this wonderful trail. Those of you involved
in this project originally and over the years were in my thoughts this morning.
If you missed this bird walk, I hope you will join us next time.
Thank you to everyone who came out for the adventure today!
