A Cooper's Hawk was in the backyard yesterday afternoon, once again. I am
beginning to think this bird likes my yard, if indeed it is the same one. This
is the third time I've seen a Cooper's in the yard within a week. It looked as
though it banged a bird into the den window, based on the gore left on the
glass. He flew off without eating anything in the yard and nothing in his
beak. I suspect he will be back again.
