Greetings,
Here’s a picture of a Brown-headed Cowbird, Fox Sparrow with Cardinal, and
Western Bluebird. The Cowbird was from this morning’s field trip, the others
from a trip through the cemetery afterward. Also present at the cemetery were
a Gray Fox and a Coyote, but I didn’t get pictures of either. Other birds of
interest after leaving the field trip included an American Kestrel and a Common
Merganser at Lake 6. Yellow-rumped Warblers and Northern Flickers were other
species added at the cemetery. Bowles Lake road was unproductive, but Ransom
Canyon produced another dozen Common Mergansers and a pair of Ross’s Geese.
Liquor Store Road produced some Horned Larks and a Roadrunner.
