I personally just pull over to the side of the road if I see something I want
to try to photograph.
Maybe somebody else can chime in on this question for you.

Directions to Boles Rd:
Drive east down East 50th St, under Loop 289, then turn north (left) 1 mile
after the Lubbock City Limit sign. There is a place called Lubbock Advanced
Team Marine at the intersection.
