We completed the Muleshoe NWR CBC (a half-day, limited area CBC)
yesterday. Observers were Dana Boswell, Kathryn Brautigam, Jim Crites,
Drew Harvey, Anthony Hewetson, Ellen Hildebrandt, Brad Jury?, George Jury,
Phillip Kite, Rob Lee, and Angelina Zappia.
We tallied 75 species during the half day - a bit better than average -
thanks, mostly, to improved lake levels and the ongoing return of wintering
water birds.
