It would appear to be temporary. There was some orange barrels and a big
road closed sign. The ground wasn’t wet or anything so unsure why it would
be closed? I didn’t attempt from the other direction though so it could be
open from the west side
The Western grebe was still at Lake 2 and had good views!

Did some birding to our west. Reese Playa is completely dry and the road
billed curlews, 11 burrowing owls, a snowy plover, and a handful of lark
Bison Road Playa in Levelland had some good birds including 48 long
sparrows.

going to follow up on it right now.
