[leasbirds] Hockley County Highlights - first day of February

Greetings All:
I tried again for the swan, spending four morning/early afternoon hours in
Hockley County with, again, no luck as regards swans. Brashears Park is
probably best between 10:30 and 12:30 when waterfowl numbers peak as birds come
in from the fields for an early afternoon of basking in the sun.
Highlights included were 1 Greater White-fronted Goose, 6 Snow Geese, 1 Ross's
Goose, and 11 Cedar Waxwings - all spotted at or over Brashears Lake during two
hours of sitting and staring at waterfowl.
