[leasbirds] Hockley County Highlights - last day of January

Greetings All:
In response to a sighting of a Tundra Swan at Brashears (spelling) Lake in
Levelland, I headed on out in hopes of adding the species to my patch list for
the year.
I spent over five hours in Hockley County with three separate visits to
Brashears Lake but had no luck with swans.
Highlights (peak numbers for each site): at Lobo Lake Park I spotted 1 Greater
White-fronted Goose, 2 Snow Geese, and 2 Wood Ducks; at Brashears Lake I
spotted 7 Snow Geese, 1 Ross's Goose, and 1 Merlin; at Levelland City Park I
spotted 1 Townsend's Solitaire; along Ellis Road I spotted 1 Rough-legged Hawk.
Not bad but no swan.
