migration does weird things to ranges. Face seems a little plain with no
definite eye stripe, favoring Hooded, but the transition to the throat favors
Orchard; so face/head plumage is a wash for me. The wing bars are the
deciding factor for me, they seem too distinct and more than just edgings.
Putting that with the range leads me to Orchard for the ID. The pic doesn’t
really show tail length. Was the tail long or short. I don’t suppose you
measured the bird? Orchards are 3/4 of an inch shorter on average. 😜
