I had a Red-napped Sapsucker fly into the pecan tree close to sunset. It
drilled for about 5 min. Then It snuggled in between vines on the
trunck/branch with it's back to the north. Sleep tight and hope to see you
in the morn.
Ok so in Bernilillo(Abq), continuing are the G. Pewee, Am. Bittern,G.Scaup,
Wood Thrush. At Bosque Del Apache, the Least Bittern, Black-tailed
Gnatcatcher, and I think the most surprising a Buff-bellied Sandpipper!
It's been there for over a week. In Dona Ana(Las Cruces), C Nighthawk, and
a Broad-billed Hummer. Elsewhere lots of reports of Tree and Harris
Sparrows, G-C Sp. Two reports of Lesser-black-backed Gulls. One at Brantley
Lake St Park along with an Iceland Gull. And one of the most interesting is
a Hooded Oriole at Portales! It's been through several snows and is eating
oranges and grape jelly at a feeder science the 15th of Nov!
