Went by @ 6:30 p.m. Saw Phoebe twice, each time it flew flew before I could
get my camera zoomed and focused. Confirmed sighting once thru 8X36 bins.
Each time it moved farther west then apparently circled back to the trestle
from the north. Stayed 20 min trying to get a photo but only saw fluttering
in the leaves.
May try again tomorrow, not so late in the day.
I parked near the Quinones Memorial Park sign and followed the crick west to
the trestle. Bird stayed west of the trestle. If anybody wants company
birding there I live not far away. Text to 806-747-8053.
