Sono un grande fan di SQLite.
Pero`, mi spiace dirlo, ma questa tesi fa veramente pena, nella forma, nella
metodologia inadeguata, nella mancata descrizione
di cosa hanno fatto, ... :(
Il sito SQLite IMHO fa un lavoro molto migliore a sottolineare quanto SQLite
sia un cimelio:

Volevo anche trovare un benchmark SQLite vs. X ma sinceramente al volo non ne
ho trovato uno fatto bene.
Poi sono ritornato al vecchio sito che hai postato:

e sto pensando... i test che hanno fatto li` sono ben descritti e sembrano
relativamente facile da rifare con i prodotti
aggiornati. Potremo rifarlo noi? :)
PS: sono sicuro che SQLite vincerebbe ancora. Non sto assolutamente dicendo che
non sia super fast nel suo dominio.
