Quando devi disabilitare dei servizi che partono in automatico o
installare nuovi servizi non pacchettizzati, lo standard in Debian
prevede l'uso di update-rc.d.
La sintassi è semplice:
per disabilitare completamente un servizio:
update-rc.d -f nomeservizio remove
Per abilitarlo assegnandogli S99 nei RL 2,3,4,5 e K01 nei RL 0,1,6:
update-rc.d nomeservizio start 99 2 3 4 5 . stop 01 0 1 6 .
(Stai attento al punto finale che inizialmente ci si scorda facilmente
in quanto non è molto comune)
