Hello everyone
The registration deadline for the 1st meeting of the Association of Indian
Primatologists (AIP) has been extended till *15th October 2019*.

Greetings!
We are pleased to announce the 1st meeting of the Association of Indian
Primatologists (AIP): "Indian Primatology: Past, Present & Future" to be
taking place on 1st and 2nd November (details on the attachment). The aim
of this meeting is to provide a common platform for the primate researchers
to share their work, get valuable feedback from eminent Indian
primatologists and participate in brainstorming discussion on Indian
primatology.
Anyone, not actively working in the field of primatology research but has
an inclination toward Indian primates, its habitat and conservation as well
as having a plan to study primates in future are also heartily welcome.
The conference/meeting is scheduled on 1st - 2nd November 2019 at the
Centre for Ecological Sciences (CES), IISc, Bangalore.
There are 5 min speed talks as well as poster presentations (speed talk
should be accompanied by a poster) to choose from. The meeting will be
having interesting plenary talks by expert primatologists,
panel-discussions on opportunities and challenges in Indian primatology.
Moreover, it aims to provide an opportunity, especially to the early-career
researchers to present their work and interact with peers and to take
primate research and conservation forward.
