Hi all,
Alaap <http://alaap.in/> is a social enterprise working on the mission to
bring back native forests in the Himalayas. We focus on creating forests
(rather than planting trees), using the Miyawaki method
<http://alaap.in/the-miyawaki-method/> - a scientifically and practically
demonstrable way of planting forests that grow faster, denser and more
biodiverse.
In addition to our work creating actual forests in partnership with local
governments and community members in Uttarakhand, we also share this
methodology with anyone who's interested, through workshops.
We're now looking for a talented creative with graphic design and layout
experience, to come spend some time with us and help us put together a
manual for the Miyawaki method. It won't be as boring as it sounds (we
promise otherwise!), and we have the content already. What we need is to
make it graphic and visually appealing - we need your ideas!
We work in the serene hills of Nainital and Champawat, and can offer you a
