Dear Everyone,
We are looking for a field assistant/interns to work with a project *on
‘Studying habitat preference and distribution of butterflies in Bandipur
and Nagarahole National Parks’ Karnataka. *
The field assistant/intern will be responsible for data collection during
field surveys.
Data collection is planned for one year *(starts from May 2023)*
*SKILLS*
· Basic knowledge of any kind of Wildlife Surveys.
· Ability to comfortably drive 2 or 4 wheeler vehicle, potentially
in rough terrain and basic knowledge of camera handling.
· Educational qualifications – Graduate in any science discipline
(Zoology, Wildlife, Botany and Environmental studies)
· Any relevant skills and experience will be beneficial and be
factored in for shortlisting
· Minimum of 1 year commitment needed
· Fluency in spoken Kannada and English
*PROVISIONS*
· Basic monthly stipend
· Accommodation and food expenses during field work will be covered
