The Archives at NCBS | Bangalore

The Archives at NCBS is a public collecting center for the history of
science in contemporary India. As of 2023, we have over 50,000 processed
objects across 25 collections in various forms, ranging from paper-based
manuscripts to negatives to photographs, books, fine art, audio recordings,
scientific equipment, letters, and field and lab notes.
This year, we are looking for diverse and inclusive collections pre 1990,
particularly papers related to Ecology and Conservation, to add to our
catalogue. These could be from individuals or organisations that have been
engaged with environmental issues and movements at the grassroots as well.
