Dear Everyone,
We are looking for a field assistant/interns to work with a project on
Studying habitat usage by Asian Elephant in Cauvery North Wildlife
Sanctuary, Tamil Nadu.
The field assistant/intern will be responsible for data collection during
field surveys.
Data collection is planned for April-June 2023.
SKILLS
- Basic knowledge of any kind of Wildlife Surveys.
- Fluency in spoken Tamil.
- Ability to comfortably drive 2 or 4-wheeler vehicle, potentially in
rough terrain
- Educational qualifications – Undergraduate in any discipline
- Must be over 18 years
- Any relevant skills and experience will be beneficial and be factored
in for shortlisting
PROVISIONS
- Basic monthly stipend
- Accommodation and food expenses during field work will be covered
